| | Wallace Idaho, June 24, 2005 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Sterling Mining Company (OTC:SRLM) today announced the appointment of Michael Mooney as Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Mooney, who recently joined Sterling's management team as Assistant Treasurer, will now assume responsibilities of Corporate Secretary focusing on maintaining and enhancing corporate recordkeeping systems, internal information systems and regulatory affairs.
Mr. Mooney, formerly CFO of Hollister-Stier Laboratories LLC, was a principal of the management team that purchased the business from Bayer Corporation. He joins Sterling Mining with more than 30 years experience in accounting and finance.
