Sterling's Marketing Manager, Monique Hayes, Joins the Board of the Idaho Mining Association

Wallace, Idaho - February 13, 2007 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Sterling Mining Company (OTCBB: SRLM) today announced that Ms. Monique Hayes, Sterling's Marketing Manager, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Idaho Mining Association. Ms. Hayes brings 15 years of experience in marketing and communications to the board, along with a rich family involvement in mining and associated industries for generations.
